The Camp Lejeune Archery Range is open to all personnel authorized aboard Camp Lejeune; all patrons desiring to use the facilities must provide their own equipment.

The range includes 8 fixed targets ranging from 10 to 45 yards. The shooting line for the range is built on a concrete foundation with a covered roof for all-weather use. The range also features bow racks, arrow holders, and tables for added convenience during your shooting session. Our known distance range is also equipped with stadium lighting for shooting in the evenings if you so desire.

If you are interested in shooting from unknown distances, the range also offers the use of a trail network that features several targets placed at variable distances along the path. The trail also incorporates three platform towers to allow archers to practice their shooting from an elevated position.

In addition to open shooting, the Lejeune Archery Club hosts 3-D Tournaments from February through August each year. This is a great way to spend the day with the family and enjoy the company of fellow archers from the surrounding area. Tournaments are typically held once a month, during which twenty 3-D animal targets are emplaced at unknown distances along the trail network for archers to test their skills.

The courses are well planned and offer a fun challenge for the beginner and seasoned archer alike. Competitors progress through the course, shooting each target and keeping track of their score as they go. You can expect to see a wide variety of animals along the trail, the life-sized Grizzly Bear and Velociraptor Dinosaur are always a big hit with the kids.

The tournament season ends in September as hunting season begins, however the range will continue to be open for use for the remainder of the year. A special 3D fun shoot is hosted every winter during the first week of December to benefit the Toys for Tots Foundation.

Broadheads and crossbows are prohibited on any portion of the archery range due to the damage they cause to the targets.
