Tarawa Terrace Community Center
Tarawa Terrace Community Center is located in Building TT44 on Tarawa Terrace Boulevard. The center is open Mon-Fri from 0800-2000, Sat 0900-1400 and other times for special events and classes.
Rooms are available for functions for a minimal fee.
Please come in and take a free ride on the high speed internet! Surf the web for research or email a friend. Our computer center is open Monday through Friday, 0800-2000 and Saturday 0900-1400. Closed on Sundays and Holidays.
Tarawa Terrace Community Center is home to a variety of programs and classes, like painting, dance, Karate, and more. We’re always looking to add to our schedule, so give us a call! (910) 450-1687.

Midway Park Community Center
Midway Park Community Center is located next to the Theater in Building LCH 4014 at Midway Park. The Community Center is available for small parties, meetings, and other social gatherings; the fee is small and accommodations are home-like!
Midway Park Community Center also has a small work out area with exercise bikes, treadmills and more.

Paws-itively Fun!
These are group classes for dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes.
Training will cover:
• eye contact and basic skills
• doggie etiquette
• tricks and so much more.
Cost $95 per dog

Dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations and proof must be shown
at the 1st class.

Laura Blanz 931-216-7160
Professional dog trainer, Laura Blanz, teaches, fun, positive,
reinforcement-based methods. Laura has been teaching others
to train their dogs for over 11 years. She has studied canine
behavior, recently received her certification in Canine Nutrition,
is an AKC-approved CGC evaluator. Laura is owned by a
German Shepherd Dog, two Shiloh Shepherds, and a Corgi.
She currently competes with her Corgi, who earned his first
Rally title at just over a year old.
All participants are required to register directly with the trainer.
Open to all authorized patrons with a DoD ID card.

Prohibited Canine Breeds may not participate
(3) Prohibited Canine Breeds
(a) Full or mixed breeds of Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, wolf hybrids, or any canine breed with dominant traits of aggression which present an unreasonable risk to the health and safety of persons aboard the Base and therefore are prohibited aboard Base. In cases of mixed breeds and other disputes, the Base Veterinarian’s determination will be final
and conclusive.

All families with children are welcome to a friendly, semi-structured playtime filled with various activities with other parents and children. Families play and learn together through various activities such as free play, songs and special events. This program offers a meeting place where you can socialize, exchange, organize activities, and make friends; in a friendly, relaxing environment
