Lifelong Learning
It is the aim of Lifelong Learning to provide high quality education services that meet or exceed the needs and expectations of active duty Marines, Sailors, retirees, and their family members aboard Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River. We also provide support to active duty Marines and Sailors stationed at non-Marine Corps bases east of the Mississippi (This includes personnel deployed from Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River to Iraq, Europe, etc.).

Mission
To eliminate barriers and build bridges for the academic success of military dependent children through networks and partnerships with our local and global communities.
Vision
A community in which military and civilian partners work hand in hand to successfully educate and advocate for the military child.
Goals
Understand and identify barriers to quality education for military dependent children in this area and develop solutions.
Seek to promote and educate the command, parents, our Eastern NC community, and schools about the unique needs of military children.
Make connections to partners who can provide support and assistance for military families and their educational needs.
Communicate information to allow families to effectively advocate for their children in the educational setting.
Libraries
Reference service, reader’s advisory, audiobooks, portable DVD players for in-house use, music CDs and MP3 (MP3 players are available for checkout), copier (.10 per page), self service fax with debit or credit card ($1 per page), overseas fax ($4.95 for the 1st page then, $3.45 per page after). Internet and email access, and computers for word processing are just a few of the many services offered @ Your Library.
