Class Desriptions

Aqua Athlete – Don’t let the water fool you! This deep water, non-impact class will increase aerobic and muscular endurance and improve flexibility while minimizing stress on the body. All necessary equipment will be provided.

Aqua Fit – If you’re looking for a complete workout focused on all muscle groups without the impact of land-based classes, then Aqua Fit is for you! Whether you want to lose weight, recover from an injury, or just have fun, this shallow water-based class will help accomplish your goals.

Cardio Kickbox – Combine no-contact punches, kicks, and drills with an energetic beat and what do you get? A whole lot of sweat!

Colorgized Yoga – Truly a unique concept in wellness, this multi-sensory, mind-body experience fuses the benefits of yoga with the benefits of color healing and positive affirmation.

Combat Cardio – Looking for action? Then Combat Cardio is for you! Using a mix of boxing skills and drills, you’ll improve agility, speed, strength, and aerobic capacity.

Combat Fitness Training (CFT) – This high-intensity class is designed to prepare Marines to comply with the new Marine Corps physical demands and standards. This class is formatted to meet the unique needs of active duty personnel, but civilians will benefit from this training too.

Cycle – A challenging, fun class designed to take you on an indoor cycling journey. Experience jumps, hills, sprints, and downhill races while getting a great workout.

Double Step – Use two steps to double the fun! This high-energy step class offers more advanced choreography for a challenging cardio workout.

Gentle Yoga – This class will create balance in the body, developing both strength and flexibility through the performance of poses or postures with specific physical benefits.

GUTS – This 20-minute workout focuses solely on the abdominal muscles. You will be led through a series of innovative, effective exercises. It’s an ab-solute must!

Hard Core – Develop core strength and stability with localized torso exercises that target the abdominal muscles and lower back. Make this 20-minute class the “core” of your workout!

Hip Hop Dance – It’s hip, it’s hot, it’s high energy! Learn the latest dance moves in an easy-to-follow class that doesn’t feel like exercise! But don’t be fooled … this dance-based workout will have you burning loads of calories while having tons of fun!

Kettle Bells – Learn how to use momentum to your advantage in this challenging class. The unique kettle bell shape is designed to improve power, endurance, speed, coordination, and dynamic flexibility while maximizing performance in all movement-oriented activities.

Open Mic – Mix it up with this rotating class format. It may be Cycle or Double Step, TBCircuit or Kettle Bells. Whatever the class format, you’ll have a good time and a great workout!

Power Hour – Make the most of your hour! This class blends strength training and cardio drills for a powerful workout.

Power Yoga – This method of yoga involves synchronized breathing with a progressive series of postures, a process that produces internal heat and profuse sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. You will leave with a stronger body, a calmer mind, and improved circulation.

Semper Strength – Strengthen, sculpt, and define all your muscles in this highly effective, full-body strength training workout.

Shift & Lift – Improve power and strength by combining your cardio and resistance training in one cycle class.

Silver Striders – This is a comprehensive fitness program for our "Silver Striders" to help achieve your health and fitness goals. It will challenge you to exercise and improve your eating habits while teaching you about the latest health and wellness news and tips.

Skills & Drills – Elevate your training and improve speed, power, and agility. Skills & Drills merges cardio conditioning drills with strength circuits for a full body challenge! It’s loads of fun, plus a great way to train for the CFT!

Step & Rep – Get more bang for your buck! This cardio/strength interval class combines simple, easy-to-follow step moves with strength exercises to work your entire body.

TBCircuit – Experience the benefits of an hour packed with cardio and strength training drills for a Total Body Circuit.

Total Core – This is the ultimate workout for strong backs and defined abdominal muscles. Total Core combines Pilates-based core conditioning with traditional abdominal and back exercises to strengthen your abs, enhance core strength, and increase stability and flexibility.

Warrior Mind Training – Discover the powerful mind training techniques of the Samurai and learn the secret to living a life of excellence, both on the battlefield and off, as you exercise your most powerful weapon … your mind.  Learn how to convert fear and adrenaline into pure focus; how to leave the battle on the battlefield; cultivate self-control and willpower; and so much more. A must for Marines and sailors before and after combat experience.

Yogilates – Improve your flexibility and strength with this fusion of yoga and Pilates.

Zumba® – Take five or six different rhythms from around the world, add a few dance steps, and combine them into a full hour of fun!
