TAG

TAG, you’re it!

What is TAG?
TAG is the Teen Advisory Group at the Harriotte B. Smith Library for ages 12 to 18.

What does TAG do?
You, as a member, help plan events, recommend materials, help maintain the Young Adult area, volunteer for service projects (earning SAT scholarship hours), and volunteer at the library.


When is TAG?

First Tuesday of each month during the school year, 1830, at the main branch.

Reference service, reader's advisory, audiobooks on tape, CD, and MP3 (MP3 players are available for checkout), copier (.10 per page), fax ($1 per page sent or received, overseas sent $2, received $1), Internet and email access, and computers for word processing are just a few of the many services offered @ Your Library.

Outreach Storytime at Tarawa Terrace Community Center: 1030 a.m. Wednesday

Dial-a-Story is available for children by calling 451-3442 for a new story twice a week.

Storytimes for preschoolers are presented at the Harriotte B. Smith Library on Thursday mornings at 0930 for 2-3 year-olds and at 1030 for 4-6 year-olds.

Book Discussion Group. Bookaholics is co-sponsored by the Harriotte B. Smith Library (451-5724) and the Onslow County Public Library (455-7350). The group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Onslow County Public Library meeting. Contact the libraries for meeting dates, book titles, and additional information.
