Age requirements for this facility:

All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult; Those aged 16 years and older may rent canoes and kayaks without an adult; Must be 18 years old to rent small sail boats

 

NC – ATLANTIC INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY (AICW) –
NORTH CAROLINA CUT

Mariners are advised that urgent mechanical repairs will be performed at the Onslow Beach Swing Bridge across the North Carolina Cut, at AICW mile 240.7, at Camp Lejeune, NC. To facilitate repairs, the swing span will be closed to vessels requiring an opening beginning at 0100 on Wed, 8 Sep through 2359 on Tue, 14 Sep. The available vertical clearance in the closed position is approximately 12 feet, above mean high water. Mariners able to pass under the closed span may do so, should adjust their transits accordingly and exercise caution when transiting the area.

Ship’s Store

Courthouse Bay and Gottschalk Marina have retail stores for the sale of marine supplies, water sports equipment, beach and suntan products, fresh and salt water fishing tackle, and a variety of baits.

Store hours correspond with Marina hours.
