Courthouse Bay Recreation Center is on the move!

Courthouse Bay Recreation Center has temporarily moved while we make some improvements to BB-27. Upgrades are estimated to be completed in May 2012
and include:

• NEW Windows & Exterior Doors
• NEW Roof
• NEW Energy-Efficient HVAC Heat Pump System & Electric Water Heaters

Courthouse Bay Recreation Center is temporarily located in Bldg BB-54! This great new location boasts all of the comforts of the previous location, such as:

• Outdoor Patio Area

Food concessions from the NCOA Knight Wagon are available and feature hamburgers, smoked sausage, chicken, pizza, fries, soda/water, and Tue/Thu
dinner specials.

Courthouse Bay Recreation Center is located near the Sneads Ferry back gate and is approximately 10 miles from the center of Camp Lejeune. Home of the Marine Corps Engineer School, Utilities Instruction Company, 2d Assault Battalion, Coast Guard, Recon and Force Recon, it is also one of the homes of the Single Marine Program (SMP).

It is an all-ranks Recreation Center. Students and permanent personnel can stop by and enjoy a variety of recreational services. This facility host a full-service snack bar, a video arcade area, Xbox 360®,  PS3™ and Nintendo® Wii™ game systems, seven large screen televisions to show DIRECTV® TV programming (NFL Sunday Ticket™, college football, UFC®, March Madness®, MLB Network®, and hockey), two large and five 26” game televisions, billiards area and an 8 mm movie viewing area. It also has 14 desktop computer stations (two 10-minute and 12 30-minute computers). Additionally, we offer 10 laptops and free Wi-Fi.

The outside recreation area includes a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit and two picnic areas. The Rec Center also conducts a variety of events such as billiard tournaments, Texas Hold’em tournaments, DJ amateur karaoke nights, indoor and outdoor movie nights, cookouts, sports parties, annual softball tournaments, annual luau party, trips, live entertainment and many other fun and exciting special events and tournaments.
