Recreational Equipment Services reservation may be made by authorized patrons up to one (1) year in advance for any item. Items can be reserved for any lenght of time.

Authorized patrons includes Active Duty, Reservists on Active Duty, Family Members, Retirees and DoD authorized personnel. Military/DoD ID cards must be presented at time of reservation and/or at time of reservation pick up.

All reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of reservation to hold the item for date(s) requested. Reservations of equipment for items less than $15 must be paid in full at the time of reservation. Reservations will not be confirmed without payment. Reservations taken over the phone may be paid by credit card. Recreational Equipment Services accepts cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, and debit cards. Star Cards are not accepted for payment.

Remaining balances on reserved items must be paid in full at the time of, or prior to, item pick up. Persons with unpaid balances will not be permitted to take reserved item.


Cancellation Policy

Cancelations will be accepted for full refunds up to 48 hours prior to reservation pick-up. Cancelations within 48 hours (two days) of reservation will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Return Policy

All items must be returned on the due date indicated before 1000. Failure to return on time will result in items being assessed a late fee.

Late fees are as follows:

  • Waiting Rental Reservation: one day late fee at twice the regular daily rate, plus cost of lost rental amount.

  • No Waiting Rental Reservation: late fee at twice the regular daily rate until item is returned.


All late fees are due upon return of the item.

Check-Out Procedures

Equipment checkouts will be completed for:
Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri from 0700-1700
Sat 0800-1530

Please allow at least 30 minutes for general equipment checkouts and one (1) hour for all camper rental checkouts.

Early Check-out Procedures
Equipment reserved in advance may be checked out up to three hours before closing the day before reservation is set to begin (if available) for a ½ day fee. Patrons should contact the reservation office to request “Early Checkout” and to ensure equipment will be available. Customers may request early checkout at the time of their initial reservation.

½-Day Policy
Customers wishing to utilize equipment for a shorter period of time may check out equipment on a first come/first served basis starting at 1400 on M/T/Th/F and 1230 on Sat for ½ price (pending availability). Equipment on reservation for the following day will not be made available for ½ day usage on the current day. Equipment is to be returned no later than 1000 on the next day the facility is open for business. Customers failing to return equipment on time will be subject to a full day’s charges.
