Goettge Memorial Field House
What: Installation of a much-needed and much-anticipated heating and air conditioning system, as well as the installation of high-efficiency lighting on the main floor.
Scope: Renovation and Upgrades
Where: Goettge Memorial Field House (Bldg 751). During renovations, only the main parking lot and administrative offices at Goettge Memorial Field House will remain open, including the Sports, Youth Sports, and Outdoor Adventures offices. Patrons must enter the building through the North Entrance of the Field House (facing Holcomb Blvd).
When: The Field House will reopen for Marine Corps Balls and Holiday Parties in Oct 2012. It will reopen for general use in Jan 2013.
Harry Agganis Field, Liversedge Field & the Intramural Field
What: All three fields will be replaced with state-of-the-art artificial turf. The track will be replaced with the same top-of-the-line surface that will be used at the London 2012 Olympic Games!

Onslow Beach House Renovations
What: Onslow Beach House Renovations
Scope: We have been offered a unique opportunity to completely remodel some of the beach houses at Onslow Beach. While this will take a few of our facilities offline for a substantial amount of time, the timeframe is ideal, as it will occur in the closest thing we experience to an off season in Eastern North Carolina. We anticipate that it will take approximately six months to complete these renovations. Plans include structural reinforcement, new flooring, new exteriors, all new furnishings and appliances, and extensive exterior improvements. These renovations are much needed--we appreciate your patience as we continue to improve the facilities at one of the most beautiful settings in North Carolina!
