Base Schools

Camp Lejeune/New River Air Station Schools
Camp Lejeune and New River Air Station are home to six Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools. These schools are available to all ranks for all children who reside aboard either MCB Camp Lejeune or MCAS New River. Families who have received a “90-day letter” (The 90 day letter verifies that the housing office expects that you will be offered base quarters within 90 school days) from base housing may also enroll their children in the DoDEA schools; however, transportation is only provided for families living aboard the base and air station.

Lejeune High School
Serves all high school students from both the base and the air station

Brewster Middle School
Serves all grade 6-8 students from both the base and the air station

Delalio Elementary
Serves all K-5 students from MCAS New River

Johnson Primary
Serves Preschool – 2nd grade aboard Camp Lejeune

Bitz Intermediate
Serves 3rd-5th grade aboard Camp Lejeune

Tarawa Terrace I
Serves Preschool – 1st grade at Tarawa Terrace housing adjacent to Camp Lejeune

Tarawa Terrace II
Serves Kindergarten – 5th grade at Tarawa Terrace housing adjacent to Camp Lejeune
