Onslow County Schools
The majority of our military affiliated students attend Onslow County Schools. Onslow County serves students living in Jacksonville, Swansboro, Hubert, Richlands, Sneads Ferry, North Topsail Beach, and Holly Ridge. School Hours for Students.

    Onslow County Magnet Schools
    There are currently two magnet schools located in Jacksonville, NC serving all of Onslow County. Students living aboard military installations are not eligible to attend unless they can document that they will be residing in a county residence prior to the beginning of the school year. Magnet school attendance is determined by lottery. Lotteries are usually held once per year in the spring. A second lottery may be held for Kindergarten only as attendance numbers permit.
  • Clyde Erwin Magnet School of International Studies and Cultural Arts
    accepts applications for students in Pre-K through 4th grade. The school is part of the International Baccalaureate Program.
  • New Bridge Middle School
    has a math, science, and technology focus and serves students 6-8.

Jones County Schools
Students from the Maysville, Trenton, and Pollocksville communities will attend Jones County Schools.

Pender County Schools
Pender County services students from Burgaw, Hampstead, Surf City, and Topsail Island.

Carteret County Schools
Just past the Swansboro bridge begins Carteret County. Students who live in Cape Carteret, Emerald Isle, Atlantic Beach, Beaufort, Morehead City, Smyrna, or Stella will attend Carteret County Schools.
